Mason began volunteering with Called2Rescue ministries in late 2019. He serves as an operations team member, search and rescue volunteer, and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) technician. After learning about human trafficking and missing children, he became more passionate about volunteering and making a difference.

Having over 20 years of military experience as an Air Force Combat Controller and Navy Helicopter Pilot, Mason's skills in search and rescue, communication, intelligence gathering, and surveillance are well-suited for the mission of rescuing the lost and innocent in our community and beyond.

Mason graduated from the University of Louisville’s J.B. Speed School of Engineering, earning a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He has received multiple awards and decorations during his time in the US Air Force and Navy, including the Meritorious Service Medal and Bronze Star. After 23 years of military service, Mason retired as a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy.
