Shannon began her search and rescue career in 1991 while serving in the United States Navy. After retirement, she began volunteering with several non-profits and for the last decade has continued her work with search and rescue and anti-trafficking organizations.
She has seen the insidious nature of human trafficking, its toll on our children, and young adults, their families, and our communities.
She has also witnessed firsthand the power of strangers from around the country, who come together, searching for our missing, willing to stand in the gap, ready to support and advocate for those who have no voice or are not heard.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John1:5
We are the light!
